Our Plans for 2016/19

Richard Jones, Independent Chair, Leeds Safeguarding Adults Board

"In Strategic Plan for 2016-19 we have set out how we will work towards achieving our Vision, 'Leeds - A safe place for everyone'.

We now have four key Ambitions that will guide all of our work over the next 3 years:

     1.    Seek out the voice of the adult at risk

     2.    Improve awareness of safeguarding across all our communities

     3.    Improve responses to domestic violence and abuse

     4.    Learn from experience to improve how we work

In our Strategic Plan below, we have included a draft Annual Plan for 2017/18, this sets out specific objectives for the year ahead.
We are always interested to hear people's views on our plans. Are we focused on the right issues? Do you have other suggestions? We are interested in your views at anytime, but if you are able to tell us your views by 26th May 2017, we can take them into account before we finalise our plans for the year ahead."
